John Henderson
Since earning a B.A. in Criminal Justice, and a M.B.A. in Executive Management, I have dedicated my entire career to working in within non-profit, educational and community-based organizations and small businesses. In a variety of leadership roles that range from that of supervisor within the juvenile detention system to serving as an university professor for almost 20 years, my drive stems from a firm belief that entire systems, no matter how sophisticated, are not successful at all if they cannot effectively serve one person at a time.
In my most recent as Executive Director of Communications and Marketing at the national non-profit educational organization, Foundations Inc., I led strategic partnership and development initiatives to improve educational experiences for at-risk youth. I helped the company establish its brand as a leading provider of customized professional development and technical assistance services for literally hundreds of professionals within schools, community-based organizations, and after school networks across the country.
